Alessandro Cortini

Former Nine Inch Nails keyboardist Alessandro Cortini is a self-confessed hardware aficionado whose dedication to modular synths and all the crazy sounds you can get from them has led to the creation of six albums so far. Volume Massimo is his latest long-player which explores his love of the Buchla Music Easel. Across eight tracks we encounter his dalliances with the machine, exploring noise, uncomfortable forays into sound design and drone, with his penchant for melody also very prominent throughout.
